Family Craft Activity Workshops, Glastonbury Abbey (17.8m)

Glastonbury Abbey has 3 fun, family-friendly, creative events coming up over the half term break. Choose from building a pipe cleaner spider (25 Oct), making an animal mask (27 Oct), or creating a stained-glass effect bookmark. All the materials needed are supplied in activity packs with a fee of £2.50.

Halloween at the Museum of Somerset (20 m)

Discover the museum in the dark! This Halloween, the Museum of Somerset has opened its doors after dark for visitors. On arrival, children will be given a lantern to shine a light on the word clues which will unlock the magic treasure. Booking is required.

Halloween at Hestercombe (21 m)

During this October half-term there is plenty of spooky fun for all the family at Hestercombe. Learn all about bats with the ‘Barmy Bats’ trail and take part in one of their special events – Spooky Science, the Potion Room, Creepy Crawlies, Stories of the Untold. They also have some non-Halloween inspired events such as the Autumn Bulb Plantathon and Fungal Foray.
